Thickness varies according to the style and model of the carpet.
- What’s a fringe?

A fringe is an extension of the carpet’s warp, its yarn is knotted in the edges
in order to prevent weft and knot to come untied.
- Why haven’t fringes the same length?

The length depends to the texture and the person who produce the carpet. Sometimes
fringes are short, sometimes long, sometimes the carpet hasn’t them. Type and length
of fringes has nothing to do with the carpet’s value or quality.
- Why the hand made carpets shown some imperfections?

Because they’re hand products, a particularity that increase the value, interest
and typicality. In hand knotted carpets most of the variations are not intentional,
they’re only caused from the impossibility to realize from weavers a carpet exactly
equal to another.
- My carpet has some shades and different tonality: is an imperfection or a manufacturing
defect?

No, it’s not an imperfection or a defect. This phenomenon is called “Abrash”. Abrash
is a Turkish word that means” in part coloured”. The difference of the tonality
is frequent verified in the craftmade carpets and happens when the weaver uses a
coloured yarn with a different shade from the precedent used one. Abrash indicate
more typicality and remember how the carpet is made.
- Are the photos in the web site faithful to the reality? How can we be sure that
the colour seen in the site is the same of the carpet?

The carpets’ photos are high professional, token with high definition digital cameras,
under chromatic check environmental, they’re also elaborated in Adobe Photoshop.
So the photos are extremely faithful to the reality. Otherwise the model, quality
and age of the pc screen used to see the carpets can influence the colour and value
of the items seen.
Purchasing
- Have you got a show room or an exhibition where we can see the carpets?

No we haven’t, unfortunately there’re not shops or show rooms where
you can see the carpets: we sell carpets only by our virtual shop in Internet, you
can see them only in the site.
- Have you got a catalogue of your carpets?

No we haven’t, all our complete collections are shown in our web site. In
this way it’s better for us keep constantly update the carpets and collections
information, in order to guarantee to our customers precise info.
- How much costs your carpets?

Establish the price of a carpet sometimes is difficult. The price can depend on
the yarn quality, on the size or the type of the carpet, on the used colours, or
on the draft.
Transactions Safety
- How safe are the transactions?
- Transactions safety is guaranteed by Consorzio Triveneta S.p.A that manages the
data of the credit card used for the purchase. Therefore "Linea Tappeti Srl"
does not have access to any data. Consorzio Triveneta S.p.A. uses a SSL3 protocol
at 128bit with a certification released by VeriSign. Such protocol guarantees that
the credit card data entered by the user shall travel encoded from the user's computer
to Payment Gateway, so nobody can intercept and use such information.
- How can I pay the carpets?

Your payment can be made using the following methods:Credit card: pay online with
all credit cards of the VISA and Mastercard circuit or Bank Transfer.

- How can I see the ordered carpets?

Immediately after the confirmation of the order you receive an e-mail of confirmation
where is written the amount, the payment, the destination and all the dates you

- How can I delete an order?

If you want to erase an order you have to send an e-mail to our address info@lineatappeti.com,
we’ll erase it and inform you for confirmation.
- How can I modify an order?

telling us which carpet you want in substitution the other ordered. The change of
an order is possible only for not dispatched orders, orders that has not already
left our warehouse.
Order Shipment
- How much costs the consignment?
- If the final destination of the goods is in Italy there are no consignment costs.
If the final destination is in Europe we ask you € 9,90, if the order is more
than € 100 the consignment is free.
- What are the delivery times?

Delivery time ranges between 24 and 48 hours on most of the Italian territory. Important
notice: "Delivery time" refers to the time passing between the departure
of the merchandise from the warehouse and its delivery to the address of destination.
- Must be someone in home to receive the carpet?

Yes, you or somebody else must be at home when our courier deliver the carpet. Anyway,
if the delivery to your home should be uncomfortable you can contact us and tell
us further information regarding the delivery time or changing the destination.
How to return
- Can I return the carpet if it doesn’t meet my taste?

Yes, If the carpet doesn’t meet your taste you can return it. In section ”Info-
Sales return” you can find all the info you need.
- How is the packaging in order to prevent damages from the carry?
-
All our carpets are rolled up with the draft inside following the carpets tradition
of transportation and maintenance regarding this items. The carpets are packaged
into poly bags and every extremity is sealed with adhesive ribbon in order to prevent
infiltrations.
